Spring breaks open
It seems we really need Spring, a season of renewal, reminder, rebirth. What would we do in perpetual winter....become frozen pipes and snow men and women? Oh no!
Thank you Spring, for coming.
From the mind
of a single, long vine,
one hundred opening lives.

I've been recovering in bed; so there's been time to read about Literature and Classic short stories that come to me by email and about Prairie Moon Waldorf School where my friend's child goes to school. To support the school is to support my friend and her child. How beautiful, how sweet life is.
Here are the Botanical Gardens of Asheville where I volunteered earlier this week. Visit! There is beauty everywhere. Here is my Dad's sense of beauty:
Effortlessly,
Love flows from God into woman and man,
Like a bird
Who rivers the air
Without moving her wings.
Thus we move in His world,
One in body and soul,
Though outwardly separate in form.
As the Source strikes the note,
Humanity sings---
The Holy Spirit is our harpist,
And all strings
Which are touched in Love
Must sound.
-Mechtild of Magdeburg
Poetry is from the book Women in Praise of the Sacred.
